Global Groups

With the new update to Version 1.16. every user can now create a “Global Group”.

What are “Global Groups” and how can they be used?

A global group can be created like a normal user mention group. The only difference is that the user can flag the group as "Global Group".

How to use the Global Group?

The Global Group can be used like the own User Mention Groups via the menu item in the "Richtexteditor". The only difference is that this group can be used by all users in Jira. In order to be able to distinguish between the custom groups and the global groups, both types of groups have now been given another name.

How to manage “Global Groups”?

Global groups can be managed in two different ways.

1. The user can see and manage the global groups created by him under his own view.
   
   
   

    

2. All global groups are listed in the admin view and can be manage by every admin user.
